Grace was taken to the CURE Uganda hospital back in June by her mother, Deborah. She is a fighter. Grace was born pre-maturely and had to be intubated for five months. During those five weeks, her doctor noticed the swelling in her brain and referred her to CURE. She was successfully treated and discharged four months ago. Grace is now nine months old. Her mother noticed some swelling returning back in September and brought her back for a check-up. Her father, Godfrey, stated she was afflicted with headaches for three months which were so severe that they caused her to lose her ability to walk. She had her surgery earlier in October and is recovering really well. She was transferred out of ICU into the ward soon following. Nelvin is still being fed through an NG tube and still needs help breathing from the oxygen mask. Pray for continued recovery and more good news!
